Posters for Palestine inntar Kunstnernes Hus
On Wednesday, November 4, Posters for Palestine Norway invites you to its fifth exhibition and print sale at Juret, Kunstnernes Hus. The evening will bring together art prints, conversation and club music, with all proceeds going to Palestinian artists.
20.10.2026
The poster has long been one of the most important forms of expression in Palestinian art and resistance. It is inexpensive to produce, easy to distribute and impossible to ignore. Posters for Palestine Norway continues this tradition. When the doors open at Juret at 8:00 PM, the exhibition opening will become a happening where art, conversation and celebration come together in one space.
An Evening in Three Parts
The evening begins at 8:00 PM with a print sale and a conversation between Palestinian artist Carmel Alabbasi and Line Khateeb. They will discuss Palestinian art, Gaza and Palestine. From 10:00 PM, DJ Refel takes over with a mix of Western and Arabic club music. The bar will be open throughout the evening.
New Works and Historical Prints
The exhibition features new works by Siri Dokken, Martin Yttervik, Kristian Krogh Sørensen, Mette Hellenes, Basel El Maqosui, Azza Hassan El-Shaikh Ahmad, Monther Jawabreh, Majed Shala, Ahmad Daalseh, Malak Mattar and Samira Badran.
In collaboration with the Palestine Poster Project and the Naji Al Ali Family, 13 historical Palestinian prints will also be exhibited and available for purchase. The prints were created by Mona Saudi, Jamal Al Afghani, Shafik Radwan, Helmi El-Touni, Mustafa Al Hallaj, Burhan Karkoutly, Marc Rudin and Jihad Mansour. The exhibition thus brings together several generations of Palestinian poster art in one space.
The exhibition runs until November 10. All prints will be sold to raise funds for the Palestinian artists who have contributed to Posters for Palestine.
TrAP's Role in the Collaboration
TrAP is a partner of Posters for Palestine and has helped employ a young content creator through Nøkkel til byen (Key to the City). The collaboration is closely aligned with TrAP's mission to create space for more voices in Norway's cultural scene and to give young people opportunities to gain experience in creating and communicating art and culture.
