Two intense days where participants explore and investigate the conditions for cultural diversity in the Nordic countries, focusing on the artists, the producers and the gatekeepers. It was a meeting point for artists, art institutions, politicians, educators, the media and other central actors in the cultural field.
This was the second of a total of three Nordic seminars in the 2008 «EUs European Year of Intercultural Dialogue». After the focus on «mapping the field» at the first seminar in Copenhagen, the seminar in Drammen could look into a few concrete challenges, best practices / worst cases, project proposals and ideas.
