International conference at Oslo House of Literature, with speakers Augustus Casely-Hayford (UK), David Elliott (Turkey), Salah Hassan (USA), Koyo Kouoh (Senegal), Shaheen Merali (Germany), Els van der Plas (Holland), Oscar Pripp (Sweden), Bisi Silva (West Africa / UK) and Octavio Zaya (USA). Moderator was Thomas Hylland Eriksen.

The conference looked into critical and challenging topics related to creating conditions for cultural diversity in contemporary art education and dissemination.
