Norouz / Newrouz

The direct translation of norouz / newrouz is "new day" and this ancient tradition is celebrated at the vernal equinox, which occurres every year between 18 and 22 March. Here you meet some of the most popular performers from Iran, Kurdistan and Afghanistan, currently living in Sweden. The host is Özz Nujen, and performers are Zinat Pirzadeh, Farzad Nouri, Tawab Arash, Sidar, Abrisham and Rostam Mirlashari with Golbang.

The show is produced by Riksteatern (Sweden) and brought to Norway by Riksscenen and the DSV Network.
